This
seminar is designed to provide an interdisciplinary overview of social work and
health care in rural Ghanaian districts. It offers an integrated learning
experience that incorporates assigned readings, presentations, and
service-learning opportunities to engage students with cross-cultural awareness
of social work from other perspectives. Presentations and discussions will
revolve around the concept and practice of social work in the global south,
focusing on rural Ghanaian districts.
