In recent years, the environment of international business organisations has become increasingly complex and uncertain, as geopolitical and geoeconomic tensions, supply-chain disruptions and changing government policies have reshaped the conditions under which firms operate internationally.
At the same time, broader economic, technological, social, environmental, and institutional transformations continue to create new opportunities and constraints.
This course examines these forces and develops students’ ability to analyse changes in the international business environment and assess their implications for firms’ strategies, risks, and opportunities.
