Usable Security WiSe 26/27

This class explores key topics in Usable Security and Human-Computer Interaction, focusing on the design of secure and privacy-conscious technologies that are accessible and meaningful for users. Students will critically engage with current research, present scientific papers, and gain practical experience with user-centered research methods. While the course covers general principles of usability, privacy, and security, this semester's special focus is on personal data management after death, including digital legacies, digital self-determination, and the challenges of managing digital assets beyond life.
