Grammar activities

This course provides opportunities for you to explore different approaches to grammar teaching and apply your knowledge of the English grammatical system to the evaluation and design of effective, learning centered teaching materials.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Explain key grammatical concepts relevant to second language learners.
  • Apply communicative and context-based approaches to grammar teaching.
  • Create and deliver grammar lessons that support learners’ understanding of form, meaning, and use.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate grammar teaching materials and activities.

Teaching methods include, but are not limited to, interactive discussions, collaborative lesson planning, microteaching sessions, and technology-supported activities.

Assessment is through regular, active participation, teaching demonstrations, project and a final written reflection.
