Artificial Intelligence opens up new possibilities for universities as well—from text generation and data analysis to process automation. But how is AI changing the work at higher education institutions—from teaching to administration? This course will show you: practical, easy to understand, and with many examples from everyday university life. You will learn about key requirements and opportunities, and see what responsible AI use can look like in practice. Interactive tasks help you apply what you have learned directly to your own university context.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will be able to…
-
clearly explain key concepts and functions of Artificial Intelligence,
-
reflect on the opportunities and risks of AI applications in teaching, research, and administration,
-
make well-informed decisions for the responsible use of AI at their own institution.
Learning Method
The course is modular in structure and consists of three chapters with texts, examples, and interactive elements. Content can be completed flexibly at your own pace. Case studies, quizzes, and reflection tasks support understanding and application to your own work in the university context.
