Publishing in internationally recognized academic journals is important for academic careers, as is reviewing. In this course you will receive sound advice on how to identify and test new research ideas and themes, on the opportunities and challenges of cross-disciplinary research, of positioning yourself in academia, and how to develop your research portfolio. Both course parts include own writing time, throughout which you will develop your own research ideas and work on existing manuscripts; you also will receive individual feedback by the course teachers. Preferable outcome is a final paper ready to be submitted to academic outlets.
