In this module, students work in small teams to develop design concepts for an interactive automated system in a specific application domain (e.g., health, transportation, work, or everyday life). This module will be defined for students of the Master HCI program (as Project A, B, or C), and allows them to apply theoretical knowledge of the methods and transfer it into the concrete development of interactive automated systems. The students will be provided with material and access to Fab Lab to develop their prototypes. In weekly meetings, they will report their progress. These meetings will be held in an interactive format in which students present their progress, get feedback, and discuss the challenges in the design and development of the prototypes. Furthermore, working in teams help students gain soft skills during the course of their studies.
