A lot of the papers you come across during your studies in Human
Computer Interaction are built on years of long-term research, other
cover months of a conducted study in a field. Experiences are compressed
into 10-40 pages, aiming at making an explicit point and a valuable
contribution to the related body of literature out there.
In this reading class, we want to dismantle some of the fundamental
pieces of academic literature in field of Socio-Informatics and HCI and
dig deep. We want to follow argumentations, agree and disagree, think
bigger, take turns, reflect upon the impact these papers have on
Socio-Informatics and HCI in general and your research interests and
studies in particular.
