This course will serve as an introduction to the concept of posthumanism in academic discourse. We will be covering theorists (such as Donna Harraway, Katherine Hayles, and more recent contributors) in order to consider various aspects and angles, such as plants, animals, AI, genetics, and the other-worldly. We will use these academic discussions to discuss and analyze recent Anglophone fiction and film.
